The Nags Head Fishing Pier has now closed for the 2015 season. If you visited us this year, we thank you very much and we look forward to seeing you in Spring 2016.
It was an amazing year at the Pier. For starters we have a new website full of updated information, beautiful photography and even a few videos! Take a look around, we hope you find the new site easy to use and informative.
On the fishing side of things our anglers pulled in some of the best catches we’ve seen in a long time: Trout, Bluefish, Flounder, Red Drum, Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Spot and more. They even pulled in a few Dolphin Fish and Sailfish which are a rarity and some of the most colorful fish swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.
The big news at the pier was the continued enhancement of Capt. Andy’s Oceanfront Tiki Bar & Grill which offers live music, great food, drink specials, and amazing unobstructed ocean views. And as always, the famious Pier House Restaurant served up specialty dishes for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Our Cottage Rentals were busy again this year and many being repeat visitors and long time friends of the Pier. To make your visit easy and comfortable consider one of our Cottage Rentals for your next visit, there’re located right here at the Pier.
If you’ve never visited the Nags Head Fishing Pier you MUST make it a top priority for 2016. We assure you that it will be one of the most memorable experiences during your Outer Banks visit.
We will see you soon or in 2016!
Thank you – The NHFP Crew
